Modern Dissent
A set of 4 plastic etched drypoint prints with chine colle colour and hand stamped captions.This project extends my dissertation by translating punk's DIY ethos into a contemporary context. Rather than replicate 1970s visual tropes, the works embody punk's underlying methodology using accessible, self-produced processes to express dissent. Each image addresses modern anxieties, uncertainty, political decline, digital avoidance, and imposter syndrome, through direct, imperfect mark-making.
